For the past three years we’ve attended Batonnage Forum, where powerful conversations have taken place about what it’s like to be a woman in the biz. The 2020 event took place virtually, allowing for even broader discussion with folks from all over the world.
As we look forward to the fall release of the 2016 Waits-Mast Family Cellars Pinot Noir, Deer Meadows Vineyard, we’re a bit wistful as this will be our final vintage from this beautiful and special site in Anderson Valley. The story of how we stumbled into our experience with Deer Meadows Vineyard is a tale so characteristic of the small, supportive winemaking and winegrowing community of Anderson Valley.
The Waits-Mast Fall Release is here, with three delicious new Pinot Noir wines to round out the 2015 vintage. The Fall Release runs through Friday, November 16 and includes a limited-time shipping special.
Harvest activities continue as our carefully tended grapes are fermenting away, making their transformation into delicious Waits-Mast Pinot Noir.
We rang in autumn with the first Waits-Mast harvest for 2018 on September 25 at Mariah Vineyards in Mendocino Ridge.
