Wine Enthusiast, 2014

Wine Enthusiast's Jim Gordon reviews the 2011 Waits-Mast Pinot Noir, Mendocino County: "91 points. Vivid, lively fruit flavors and electrifying acidity light up this unique, nervy wine. The aromas are raspberry, cranberry, slight earthiness and a hint of licorice. A crisp, tangy texture and firm tannins hold everything in a tight grip. Cellar until 2017 for it to open up."
